Review Treasures report: Board reviewed with no comments
Review department reports:
Police: Gary had report (on file) also reported that he sent info to a grant company to find grants for the radios when the county turns to digital. The village doesn’t qualify for a Walmart grant.
Fire: Nothing to report, Dave said they have had many calls recently.
Streets & Alleys: Dave said he was not sure when they will work on streets. We have enough money to pay for what we have approved to do.
Water: Pressure seems to be good, and there was only one overflow reported. Not sure when the water tower painting will begin.
Animal Control: The village was charged a $46 for a welfare check on animals by the County Animal Regulation. The village still has an ad out for an animal control officer.
Board Comments: The board discussed that there are dead end signs are needed on Bowman, East South and West State Street. Colby will be asked to trim some trees by some stop signs. Question was brought up if the health department had been called regarding the home of Jamie Tate and that he is pumping waste into the street, and yard. Susie offered to call Mike at health dept. regarding that. Dave had called and left a message but had not got a call back. Clerk Woodard asked why the police didn’t issue a citation since it was a violation of an ordinance. Officer Wright said it would probably be better if the Health Department was contacted. Ed said that he didn’t think the aeration system in Tate’s septic system was working correctly. Susie said something needed to be done. Greg spoke to health department about Crippen house and was told they would come out to look at the house. Greg is calling the tavern owner to ask if he could do some things to the tavern to make it safer on the outside.
Adjourn: Greg made motion to adjourn, Susie 2nd, Susie Dodd-Casey Y Ed Cheuvront Y Dustin High Y Diana Cooper Y Greg Woodard Y Emily Carey Y Motion approved
