Public comments: Jeremy Barker asked when alleys would be worked on. He was told as soon as other projects were completed.
Vance Twp. Librarian Bonnie Gilbert wanted to thank the board for paying for the movie license fee the library is required to have to show movies legally.
Bonnie also passed out a flier regarding the murder mystery the library is putting on August 3.
Approved proposed 2019 Tax Levy proposed a tax levy of $32,958 for our 2019 property taxes. This is a 4.915 percent increase from last year. Ed made motion, Diana 2nd

Board Correspondence: TheMayor of Oakwood Clay Woodard contacted Dave to let him know Oakwood Ambulance coordinator Terry Hume retired. They have appointed Butch Fields for six months until they find a replacement.

Board Comments:
The board decided to put pea gravel in where the bushes were on corners.
Emily wanted to make sure that the green slow sign Tammy put up where her food cart is not causing a liability to the village. Board doesn’t feel it is a liability.
Kathy mentioned a camper that is sitting on town property on a dead-end street, Gary was instructed to make sure it is licensed.
Kathy mentioned the dumpster sitting across from Decatur aeration, is full and sitting on public property, on East State Street. Gary was instructed to talk to the residents.
Dave said he had not heard from the surveyor.
