The Fairmount Village Board met in open session this 18th day of October, 2017 in the council chambers of the village hall. President David Ferber called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Meeting ended at 8:20 p.m. Visitors: Gary Wright

Review department reports:
Police- Report of File, Dave noted 5 fires in 14 months, On October 2, Fire Dept. went through an ISO audit, and it takes 6 months for results to come back.

Streets & Alleys: Will be pouring a concrete pad by village garage to store things on.
Water- Oct 16, Failure of pressure system, new timer was installed. There are two customers who water has been shut off, the board would like water clerk to provide a status report on the odd months. Andy Keiser hasn’t returned Dave’s call

Board Comments- Dave is suggesting that department reports are turned in by the 10th of each month and the Village Clerk will email them to the board. The board still wants copies of timecards in addition to the log from Streets and Alleys. Dave also wants the board to begin reviewing ordinances to see if there are any that need changed. The community wiener roast wasn’t well attended like last year, thoughts are because it was Homecoming night, so next year we will check the school calendar in advance.
