Public comments: Junior Bennett expressed concern about the need of animal control officer as well as people yards not being taken care of and people mowing the grass out into the streets. Gary will issue more tickets for ordinance violations. The board hopes to hire an animal control officer later in the meeting. Currently there is not an ordinance on grass clippings on streets.
Action Items
• Resolution setting Animal Control Officer Salary Approved increase monthly base of $100 month, and $10 for each animal caught. Ed made motion, Emily 2nd.

Board Correspondence: Suzanne read a letter from Brett McMahon requesting a crosswalk installed for uptown area due to a potential accident that may have occurred recently. Dave said he would talk to engineer Lisa Lashuay and figure out what can be done.Ferber said they need to get the rules and regulations and talk to Lisa. Suzanne read a Thank you letter from the Vance Twp. Library for paying the two movie License fee for their programs.

Board Comments: Dave mentioned that the Village Hall is in need of some repairs. Suzanne looked into a grant that only would cover 35% towards the cost of a new building.
There are trees that need to be looked at for trimming or cutting. Dave asked the board to get lists to Suzanne. Suzanne will advertise for bids for Tree cutting to be opened at the next meeting. Dave would like to look into increasing salaries in the future.
Project review
Water System pressure control: Tom Baird has been in contact with Dave, he is looking for a part that would be less expensive than a new part. He will keep in contact with us as he is also busy with other jobs as well.
