The Fairmount Village Board held an Emergency Meeting in open session this 13th day of September, 2017 in the council chambers of the village hall. President David Ferber called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Meeting ended at 6:06 p.m.

Fairmount Well #5 is not working correctly due to pump failure. The board approved installing a new 2hp pump and motor that pumped 45 gallons per minute. This will make the pump work at optimum efficiency and extend its life. The cost will be $7,341.40 from Hayes & Sims Drilling Company. Estimate is on file. This will include Well Rehab and Acidation.
